This is family creed of the Addams family, characters created by cartoonist Charles Addams in the 1930s for The New Yorker magazine as a satire on the perfect American family. The Addams Family are a wealthy family that engage in macabre activities and walk through life entirely oblivious to the fact that most people find them weird and creepy. The Addams Family became a TV series in the 1960s, with family members Gomez, Morticia, Pugsley, Wednesday, Grandmama and Uncle Fester. They live next to a cemetery and have a collection of bizarre pets and relatives, including Cousin It, who is entirely covered in long hair, Thing, the disembodied hand who is a great help about the house and Lurch, the ghoulish butler (You rang? ) They have been featured in films as well - The Addams Family and Addams Family Values #H276 Shift style dress with contrasting collar and cuffs.
