The Jazz Age of the 1920s brought new freedom for women.  They could be seen smoking and drinking in public and wearing clothing that revealed their 'limbs'.  

#N187  Dress has contrasting low waistband and handkerchief hem.  Scooped neckline has decorative contrasting tie.  Jacket has contrasting trim and button closure.
